| The “Garden House”
offers these four superb holiday apartments, situated within the
enclosed garden walls of a former 18th century hunting lodge, and
offering summer shade beneath an abundance of eucalyptus, camellia,
vine and cherry. The Caminha Foz and its renowned restaurant are
just a 5 minute walk. At just another 5 mins
walk from here you are on the beach at this most northerly Portuguese
coastal point. The accommodations have been finished with great
care and consideration.The upper apartment sleeping 4 has a small
veranda with views over the swimming pool and toward the mountains.
On the lower floor there is a 4 person apartment also a 2 person
"studio", both are are contained within bougainvillea
clad patio enclosures. Comfortable living accommodation is offered
with full bathrooms and modest kitchenettes. Situated close to the
garden house is the lodge " 2 / 3 person Tower suite"
with twin and single room. A swimming pool is available from May
to mid October. |

The "Studio Apartment" has a
kitchenette, and offers 2 single bed settees that are made up by the daily
maid. An extra bed may be placed in this accommodation if required.
The "Tower Suite" offers twin beds * bathroom, and has a petite
sitting room with tea n´toast cooking facilities.
There are an abundance
of restaurants close by.
Further Information:
Caminha with all its many
restaurants and amenities, is only 1 kilometre away and from here you
may take the car ferry to the Spanish beaches. You are ideally situated
for trips into Spanish Galicia to the north, and the Peneda Geres National
Park and Serra de Arga to the east.
The beautiful towns of Viana do Castelo, Vila Nova de Cerveira, and the
fortified town of Valenca which offers an abundance of linen and towelling
are only a short drive.
The Portuguese beaches offer seclusion amidst sand dunes and surf at Caminha,
Afife & Moledo. In Spain there are beaches with a compliment of facilities
for children at Vigo, and also at Praia de America.
Water sports and outdoor activities are available on the Rio Minho with
surf instruction nearby.
